At WUPP, we mold the policymakers, leaders, and lawmakers of tomorrow.
We envision WUPP as the number one destination for students at UPenn interested in any aspect of public policy, whether pursuing a career upon graduating or actively engaging with policy issues throughout their time in school.
From case competitions to renowned speakers and judges, WUPP members are constantly engaging with pressing policy issues. Past events have featured distinguished leaders such as Andrew Yang — entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, non-profit leader, and former U.S. presidential and New York City mayoral candidate — and Dr. Boris Lushniak, former U.S. Surgeon General, offering students unique opportunities to learn directly from experts shaping today’s policy landscape. Members also participate in a career trek to Washington, D.C. and the annual Policy Summit, gaining first-hand exposure to policymaking and professional pathways in the field.
