PAST POLICY PARTNERSHIPS

U.S. State Department

W.U.P.P. worked with the Department of State to continue its prior collaboration investigating investments in healthcare data infrastructure, and evaluate potential nations that could benefit from this investment. The investigation included evaluating which nations were most in need of rapid 

Philadelphia City Council: Housing

W.U.P.P. collaborated with Councilmember Rue Landau’s office to investigate housing policy reform in Philadelphia proposed by Mayor Parker, as well as by Councilmember Landau’s Office. The project centered on studying the history of the housing crisis in Philadelphia, and how neighboring major urban centers have successfully tackled parts of the housing crisis.

Philadelphia City Council: Budget

W.U.P.P. collaborated with Council member Rue Landau’s office to  investigate the proposed allocation of Philadelphia’s proposed FY 2026 Budget, and identify unnecessary expenditures. W.U.P.P. 's methodology in the process was comparing Philadelphia to sister cities in potential expenditures, and highlighting how they’ve used their budget allocations to efficiently provide services.

Army Criminal Court

W.U.P.P. continued its collaboration with the Army Criminal Court in investigating drug abuse by reservists, and evaluating potential confidential assistance programs that could be adapted to fit the needs of reservists. The project centered on developing a standard operating procedure, and selling a pilot of the program to various stakeholders, including the Pennsylvania State Government, California State Government, and National Coast Guard.

Environmental Protection Agency

W.U.P.P. focused its collaboration with the E.P.A. on the future of nuclear energy in the United States, at a time when fossil fuels appear relied on more than ever. The research included examining successful programs for adopting nuclear programs in other countries, and steps in education and infrastructure that could make nuclear energy easier to adopt in the future.
