BECOME A WUPP MEMBER

HOW TO JOIN

WUPP welcomes all undergraduates, regardless of school, and hosts events throughout the semester that are open to everyone. To stay up to date with our workshops, events, and other opportunities, join the WUPP listserv to become a General Body Member.

General Body Members are invited to attend WUPP events to hear from speakers currently working in industry and network with other members at our various socials.

In addition to becoming a GBM, you can also apply to our various committees:

  1. Policy: works directly with our policy clients to deliver solutions and industry-based recommendations. Some past clients we have worked with include:

    • US Department of State

    • Army Court of Criminal Appeals

    • Philadelphia City Council Budget

    • Environmental Protection Agency

    • City of Philadelphia Housing Department

  2. External: works to invite industry guests and special speakers — and also plans our annual Career Trek to Washington, D.C.

  3. Marketing: advertises all of our events and creates promotional materials on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Listserv.

  4. Finance: handles WUPP’s annual budget and collaborates with other committees in budget allocation and event planning.

  5. Social: plans social events and collaborates with other committees to bring social aspects to our preprofessional club. Some past social events include:
